License:

To legally marry in Utah, you must be at least 18 years old and of sound mind demonstrating the capacity to make an informed and consenting choice to wed.

You will also need a marriage license.

If you desire to marry in Moab and therefore Grand County, you can contact the Grand County Clerk, and procure a physical document as part of your marriage license process in the days preceding your wedding. This serves Grand County only.

Serving the entire state of Utah, and therefore all counties, including Grand, is Utah County, which hosts a completely digital process.

Permits:

On the day of your wedding after the ceremony, your officiant and two witnesses, who are also of sound mind and over 18 years of age, will join you in signing your documents, physically or digitally.

Once this final 5 signature form is submitted and processed, you will be legally married.
